Tutorial A8: Set Up and Run Explicit Quasi-Static Analysis

1. In the Assembly tree, under Subcase 1, right-click Quasi-Static Setup 1 > Edit, and set the following values:
   • Cycle Dependent: Time Step (s)
   • Number of Timesteps: 20
   • Duration (s): 1
   
2. Click OK to close the dialog.
3. At the top of the Assembly tree, right-click Analysis 1 > Edit.
4. In the Analysis dialog, click the Options tab, and under Explicit Quasi-Static Step, ensure that the Number of Steps value is 1.
   
5. Click OK to close the dialog.
6. In the Assembly tree, right-click Analysis 1 > Solve in Explicit > Solve.

   Depending on computing power available, the solution can take 20 minutes or longer.
