Enclosed fluid volumes will have a dense virtual fluid mass matrix due to fluid interaction between adjacent and distant wet surfaces. Distant surfaces relative to a single point will have a negligible contribution but can still result in a dense virtual fluid mass matrix requiring large amounts of memory. A larger VFMINTERACTTOL value may be useful for reducing memory requirements and increasing performance for these of models. |
