Tri element internal node option. When set to ON, tri elements will produce more accurate results with a small performance degradation. The AUTO setting (default) will use the ON setting for stiffness matrix and stress calculations for models less than DECOMPAUTOSIZE, models with composite shell elements, or nonlinear solutions. For models greater than DECOMPAUTOSIZE and AUTO, only the stiffness matrix assembly phase will use the ON setting. The AUTO setting provides optimal performance with accuracy. |
