Work with Clashes
Rename a Clash
- On the Results tab, right-click the clash in the Results tab, and click Rename.
- Type the new name, and press Enter.
Command entry: F2
Group Clashes
On the Results tab, select all clashes you want to group together and click Group .
Type in a new name for the group, and press Enter.
Note: Clash groups are identified with the
icon. When clashes are grouped they are treated as a single clash in the count at the top of the Clash Detective window. Each clash group is counted as a single clash unless no clashes have been added to it, in which case it will not be included in the count.
When you click the created clash group, the two panes in the Items panel show all the clashing items contained within that clash group, and all corresponding clashes are shown in the Scene View.
Change Status of Ungrouped Clashes
- On the Results tab, select the clashes requiring the change.
- Click the drop-down button in the Status box, and select the appropriate status.
Note: Multiple clashes can be changed by either holding down the CTRL key whilst selecting individual clashes (the last selected being shown in the Scene View), or by holding down the SHIFT key and selecting another clash, thereby selecting all clashes between the two including the first and last (again, the last selected being shown in the Scene View).
Assign a Clash
On the Results tab, select a clash, clash group or multiple clashes and click Assign .
Type in the name of the person/trade the selection is to be assigned to.
Note: If the clash is already assigned then the assignee will be displayed when the dialog box is opened.
Type any notes if required.
Click OK.
Unassign a Clash
- On the Results tab, select a clash, clash group or multiple clashes.
- Click Unassign .
Note: A comment is automatically written against a clash or clash group when it is unassigned.
