Auto Nominals From CAD page (Options Dialog)

Specify whether nominals and items are automatically detected when probing a part.

Note: This page is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

The following options are displayed.

• Enable by default — Enable the Auto-Extract Nominals From CAD button in the Feature Probing dialog and the Geometric Multi-Measure dialog. Nominals are loaded from the feature being probed and compared to measurements.
• Enable auto-detect item type by default — Enable the Auto-detect Item Type option in the Geometric Multi-Measure dialog. This option identifies the feature being inspected using probe movements.
• Search distance — Specify the maximum search radius for the auto-detection of features.

  To increase sensitivity and find fewer features, reduce the distance. To find more features, increase the distance.
