Uninstalling updates
When PowerInspect 2023 updates are installed, two entries for each update are created in Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features for uninstalling updates. Only the entry with the Autodesk company logo icon will properly uninstall the update. If the update is uninstalled using the entry without the Autodesk company logo, it is not possible to reinstall the update with the Autodesk Desktop App.

If the update is uninstalled using the entry without the Autodesk company logo, then the issue can be worked around:
  1. Go to the Product Updates section of your Autodesk Account at https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates.
  2. Download the update and reinstall it.
  3. Uninstall the update again using the entry with the Autodesk company logo icon.
