Use the Symbol tab of the User Defined Line Patterns dialog to use a symbol definition to define a line pattern. You must have a symbol definition in your model to use this page of the dialog.
Symbol — This contains the list of symbol definitions in your model. Select the name of the symbol definition.
The following symbol is used to demonstrate the effect of each option:
Fitted side by side — Fits the symbol side by side in the line pattern.
Placed at set intervals — Places the symbol at the specified Interval apart in the line pattern.
Aligned with line — Aligns the base of the symbol with the line.
Aligned at an angle — Inclines the symbol at the specified Angle relative to the current workspace.
Minimum width — Specifies the width of the symbol in the line pattern.
Pattern name — Enter a unique name for the line pattern.
The graphics window shows the pattern of the line as you specify it.
OK — Creates the line pattern and add it to the Line pattern selector. A new style is also created using this pattern and given a default name.
