To enable or disable automated layer and color assignments

1. In the Project Setup tree view, expand Plant 3D DWG Settings. Click Layer and Color Settings.
2. On the Automated Layer And Color Assignment pane, select or clear the check box labeled Automate Layer And Color Assignments When Creating Objects.
3. Click OK.
   Note:

   When the check box labeled Automate Layer And Color Assignments When Creating Objects is cleared, default AutoCAD layer and color settings are in effect.
