Report Creator produces two types of files, report configuration files and reports.
- Report Creator produces two types of files, report configuration files and reports.Report confguration files—by default, report configuration files are stored locally, but you can use the Settings dialog box to create a custom path. For example, you can store them on a network drive to make them available to the project team. The default settings are as follows:
- Vista and Window 7 - C:\ ProgramData\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012\R18.2\enu\ReportCreator\ReportFiles
- Window XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012\R18.2\enu\ReportCreator\ReportFiles

Produces a Plant 3D bill of materials. See the sample report below.

Produces a detailed P&ID project drawing list.

Equipmentlist Extended.rcf
Produces a detailed P&ID equipment list. The columns include Tag, Manufacturer, Supplier, Comment, Tech Data 1 through 4.

Produces a less detailed P&ID equipment list. The columns include Tag, Manufacturer, Model Number, Supplier, Material Of Construction, and Weight.

Produces a P&ID valve list. The columns include Tag, Size, Spec, Manufacturer, Model No., Supplier, and Description.
- Reports—by default, the reports are stored in the project folder. The configuration file determines the output format, but a designer can override this setting as needed.
