Failure scenario | Resolution |
---|---|
Files are in use |
If a designer is editing a drawing that is part of the project you want to migrate, that file cannot be locked. The File Unavailable dialog box lists files in use with the following status symbol: Resolve this situation by making sure that no one is editing the drawing. Restart the migration process to lock the offending file so migration can proceed. |
Missing files |
If a file residing in your project folder is renamed or moved to another folder, the Migration wizard is unable to lock it. The file is no longer associated with the project and the migration fails. Missing files are displayed in the File Unavailable dialog box. The File Unavailable dialog box lists files that are missing with the following status symbol: Resolve this problem by renaming a misnamed file with its original name or by adding a drawing with the new name back to the project in the earlier version. If the File Unavailable dialog box lists missing files, find and move them back to the project folder. |
Migrating an AutoCAD P&ID 2008 project or drawing |
You cannot directly migrate projects and drawings created in AutoCAD P&ID 2008. Resolve this problem by migrating the project or drawing first to AutoCAD P&ID 2009. When that migration is complete, save the project or drawing and migrate it to the current version. |
