General information

Using the Steel Connections: Principal Beam-to-Beam (Pinned) extension, you can define the following types of a pinned steel connection between a principal beam and a beam:

• principal beam - beam (web)
• principal beam - beam (flange).

At the top of the dialog are 2 selection lists:

• Number
• Name.

You can select a connection name and / or number from these lists or specify a new number or name:

At the bottom are 3 buttons:

• Apply - click it to generate a steel connection according to the specified parameters without closing the Define a pinned Beam-to-Beam connection dialog.
• OK - click it to generate a steel connection according to the specified parameters and close this dialog.
• Cancel - click it to close the Define a pinned Beam-to-Beam connection dialog without generating a steel connection.
