A bracket can be defined in a structure in several ways, assuming that the active list of bracket types has at least one type:
If no selection was made before opening the Brackets dialog: To add a bracket, select the bracket from the list and move the cursor and point to the member. The assigned bracket type is marked on the active list by an arrow. The cursor changes its shape to the icon of the selected bracket, when it is outside of the dialog and then you can place a bracket on the member. After you move the cursor from the dialog box to the edit screen, the structure member near which you position the cursor is also highlighted
If the selection was made after opening the dialog: The bracket list containing the selection is entered into the group Members field. To assign the appropriate bracket from the selection list, select the bracket type from the active list and press <ENTER> or click Apply. The bracket has been assigned.
Note: The selected member list is removed from Members.
If the selection was made when the dialog was already open: Click the Members field. When you move the cursor from the field, the cursor will be in selection mode. Therefore, you can select any structure members and the numbers of selected members are displayed in the Members field. To assign the appropriate field to the members from the current selection list, select the bracket type and press <ENTER> or click Apply. The brackets are assigned.
Note: The selected member list is removed from Members.
