Geometry

Use the geometry tab to define basic connection elements:

• positions of the column and the beam with respect to each other
• connection type (one- or two-sided)

If Two-sided is selected, the Symmetrical connection option is available; if selected, the connection of beams on 2 sides of the column is symmetrical with respect to the column.

• element connecting the beam with the column:
  • plate
  • angle

• additional stiffening elements for the connection:
  • brackets
  • seat profiles.

Note: The number of tabs in this dialog depends on the selected type of connecting elements, additional stiffening elements and connection type:welded or bolted.
