Panel Forces - data

Returns information concerning values of forces in structure panels.

RSA_PANEL_FORCE_DATA (Information type, Force type, Extremum type, Results parameters, Element type, Element no. (panel / node), Case no., Direction X, Direction Y, Direction Z )

The RSA_PANEL_FORCE_DATA formula syntax has the following arguments:

Information type

The following types of information are available:
  • PANEL_NO

    returns a panel no.

  • NODE_NO

    returns a node no.

  • ELEMENT_NO

    returns a element no.

  • CASE_COMPONENT_NO

    returns a number of the case component in the combination

  • CASE_NO

    returns a case no.

  • EXTREMUM

    returns a force value for the extremum found

The following types of forces are available:

    Complex moment

  • COMPLEX_MXX_BOTTOM_NEN

The following types of extremum are available:

  • MAX

    maximum value

The following types of extremum are available:

  • SMTH_PANEL

    Smoothing within a panel

  • SMTH_GLOBAL

    Global smoothing

  • SMTH_SEL

    Smoothing according to the selection

  • IN_CENTERS

    Results in element centers

Element type

The following types of element are available:

  • PANELS

    Element no. parameter points to panels

  • NODES

    Element no. parameter points to nodes

The following input methods are available:

  • Number - for element type PANELS, panels selection, for NODES, nodes selection.
  • Cell address - select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from.
  • Graphical selection - select this option in the dialog or type "@".
Note: If panels are selected graphically in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional, then the program returns information for the first panel selected.

Case no.

The following input methods are available:

  • Text - type a text (any character string) and enclose it in quotation marks, for example: "ALL" - all cases in the project or "1 2 3" - specified list of cases
  • Number - type an integer
  • Cell address - select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from
  • Graphical selection - select this option in the dialog or type "@" (cases which are selected graphically in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional are taken into account)

Division points no.

The following input methods are available:

  • Number - type an integer
  • Cell address - select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from

Directional vector - X (optional)

Coordinate X of directional vector for local X axis.

Directional vector - Y (optional)

Coordinate Y of directional vector for local X axis.

Directional vector - Z (optional)

Coordinate Z of directional vector for local X axis.
