General information

Using the Steel Connections: Beam-to-Column (Pinned) extension, you can define the following types of a pinned steel connection between a steel column and beam:

• beam-to-column (web)
• beam-to-column (flange).

At the top of the dialog are 2 selection lists:

• Number
• Name.

You can select a connection name and / or number from these lists or specify a new number or name:

At the bottom are 3 buttons:

• Apply - click it to generate a steel connection according to the specified parameters without closing the Define a pinned Beam-to-Column connection dialog.
• OK - click it to generate a steel connection according to the specified parameters and close the Define a pinned Beam-to-Column connection dialog.
• Cancel - click it to close the Define a pinned Beam-to-Column connection dialog without generating a steel connection.
