Define a trapezoidal load on a chain of members

You can define a trapezoidal load that is applied to several members forming a chain of members.

1. Click Loads Load Definition. The Load Definition dialog opens.
2. Go to the Member tab.
3. Click (Trapezoidal load). The Trapezoidal load dialog opens.
4. Set up the load parameters as necessary, and then click Add.
5. In the Load Definition dialog, enter consecutive member numbers in the Apply to box, and then click Apply. Alternatively, select consecutive members in the drawing area to form a chain of members, and then click Apply. The Trapezoidal Loads dialog opens.
6. Select how you want to apply the loads on the members, and then click Apply.
