Number of Selected Objects

Returns a number of selected elements.

RSA_SELECTION_NUMBER (Objects type)

The RSA_SELECTION_NUMBER formula syntax has the following arguments:

Objects type

The following types of objects are available:

  • BARS - bars
  • NODES - nodes
  • PANELS - panels
Note: If you type an argument in the formula manually, enclose the text in quotation marks. You can also select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from.

Note: The files are located in C:/ProgramData/Autodesk/Examples/Results Connect/RSA.

Formula:

RSA_SELECTION_NUMBER("BARS") - specifies a number of bars currently selected in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional

Result (number):

12 (bars on the Level 1 axis were selected)
