The below-presented dialog box opens once the Hang-load button is pressed in the Reinforcement Pattern dialog (the Transversal reinforcement tab).
The options located in this dialog box allow user to determine a method of transversal reinforcement in the vicinity of the hang-load resulting from an adjoining beam.
There are two possible reinforcement methods:
- by decreasing the distance between individual reinforcement elements in the zone adjacent to the loads
- by applying bent bars.
In case of bent bars there is a possibility to determine their diameter and number. If the 'Auto' diameter is chosen, the program will select the diameter automatically so that it fulfills the load capacity requirements.
The number of bent bars may be defined directly or it may be correlated with the number of main bars. If this option is switched off, the program will select automatically the number of bars which ensures fulfilling the load capacity requirements. The preferred solution is that the bent bar number is equal to the main bar number.
