Use the Stiffeners tab to define geometrical parameters of stiffeners in the column base. The Stiffeners tab is available after selecting the Simple stiffening or Stiffening with trapezoid plate option on the Column tab.
Specify a method of stiffening the base plate by selecting an appropriate icon from the Stiffener type selection list.
For the stiffener length and width, a simplified definition method is assumed; it requires defining the distances between the ends of a trapezoid plate or between the ends of collinearly-positioned triangular stiffeners:
- length - the length of a trapezoid plate or triangular stiffeners which lie in the plane parallel to the horizontal edge of the base plate
- height - the height of stiffeners
- thickness - the thickness of stiffeners
- thickness t p - the thickness of a horizontal stiffener
- width - the length of triangular stiffeners which lie in the plane perpendicular to the horizontal edge of the base plate; It is not recommended to define stiffeners that project outside the contour of the base plate.
