Returns information for a selected panel.

RSA_PANEL_DATA (Information type, Panel no.)

The RSA_PANEL_DATA formula syntax has the following arguments:

Information type

The following types of information are available:
  • MODEL

    Calculation model of the panel.

    The following results for the argument are available:
    • SHELL_ANALYTICAL_FINITE_ELEMENTS

      Finite element type: shell. Transfer of loads: analytical (finite elements), without stiffening.

    • SHELL_SIMPLIFIED_ONE_WAY

      Finite element type: shell. Transfer of loads: Simplified (trapezoidal and triangular method) one-way, without stiffening

    • SHELL_SIMPLIFIED_TWO_WAY

      Finite element type: shell. Transfer of loads: Simplified (trapezoidal and triangular method) two-way, without stiffening

    • SHELL_ANALYTICAL_FINITE_ELEMENTS_DIAPHAGRAM_FLEXIBLE

      Finite element type: shell. Transfer of loads: analytical (finite elements), partial stiffening (in XY)

    • SHELL_SIMPLIFIED_ONE_WAY_DIAPHAGRAM_FLEXIBLE

      Finite element type: shell. Transfer of loads: Simplified (trapezoidal and triangular method) one-way, partial stiffening (in XY)

  • MATERIAL

    Name of the panel material.

  • Name

    Name of the panel.

  • AREA

    Area.

  • VOLUME

    Volume (if it exists).

  • STRUCTURAL TYPE

    Structural type

    The following results for the argument are available:
    • BEAM
    • COLUMN
    • SLAB
    • WALL
    • UNDEFINED
  • NUMBER

    Number of the panel.

  • NODES

    Nodes selection for the panel.

  • PARTS_COUNT

    Number of parts in the panel.

  • GEOMETRY_TYPE

    Geometry type of the panel.

    The following results for the argument are available:
    • NONE
    • POLYLINE
    • CONTOUR
    • ARC
    • CIRCLE
    • INTERSECTION
Note: If you type an argument in the formula manually, enclose the text in quotation marks. You can also select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from.

Panel no.

The following input methods are available:

  • Number - Type an integer.
  • Cell address - select or type a cell address (for example A1) which the data will be loaded from.
  • Graphical selection - select this option in the dialog or type "@".
Note: If panels are selected graphically in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional, then the program returns information for the first panel selected.
