When the Gap tab is selected, the New Release Definition dialog is displayed.
The definition of release with gap consists in indicating the release name, selecting the fixed or released degrees of freedom at the beginning and the end of the member and indicating the values of the allowable displacement or rotation for the released directions. If the direction is fixed, the displacement is equal to zero.
Note: The definition of only positive gap values is allowed.
