Load Take Down offers new additional type of results in forms of the resultant loads onto elements.
Resultant loads are all loads acting on a given element from:
- distribution of loads from slabs on the given element
- transfer of loads from other elements to the given element
- all other user-defined loads assigned directly to the given element
Resultant loads categories are:
-
Concentrated Loads - all concentrated loads acting on columns, beams or walls
-
Distributed - detailed values - all distributed loads acting on beams or walls presented in details
-
Distributed - uniform load equivalent - all distributed loads acting on beams presented as a load averaged over the length of the element
-
Reduced force and moment - all loads either concentrated or distributed acting on walls presented as one reduced force and moment
When you select Results Load Take Down diagrams, the following displays:
You can select which resulting loads on elements are displayed:
- On columns: Concentrated loads
- On beams: Concentrated loads, Distributed - detailed values, Distributed - uniform load equivalent
- On walls: Concentrated loads, Distributed - detailed values, Reduced force and moment
You can also select Load distribution regions to display. The same regions can be displayed from the Display dialogue box Loads Load distribution regions).
The buttons at the bottom allow you to select how the results are displayed for all the above mentioned loads:
- cumulatively from all stories
- from single stories
