Annotate the Stair Path

In plan view, for a stair that doesn't already display the stair path, you can add annotation to include the up direction of the stair and walk line.

1. Click Annotate tabSymbol panel (Stair Path).
2. Select the stair.

   The stair path annotation displays on the stair.

3. Modify the stair path instance properties as desired.

   For example, you can select not to show the "up" text or to show different text, and specify the text font and orientation.

   Note: You can also customize the type properties for the stair path family to have the changes applied to all stair paths using this type.
