When you sign into your Autodesk account, you can save a non-workshared local model to
Autodesk Docs as a
Revit cloud model.
Use the
Save As dialog to save a model to the cloud, instead of saving it locally. When you save a model to the cloud using this method, the model is not automatically shared with other users.
- Click File tab (Save As).
- Select Cloud Model.
.
- In the Save as Cloud Model dialog, navigate to the desired project and folder on
Autodesk Docs.
Note: When you save a model to the cloud, save to the Projects folder. See
About Projects Files in the
Autodesk Docs Help for details.
- Click Save.
Revit displays information about the status of the initiation process
- Click Close to continue.
If you subscribe to notifications in
Autodesk Docs, you receive an e-mail when your model is successfully uploaded to the cloud.
- If the uploaded model includes links,
migrate the linked models to
Autodesk Docs
.
Note: The
Autodesk Docs project is only visible to the release of
Revit the model was shared from. Cloud models can only be linked to other models shared using the same release.
