When creating an electrical family parameter, specify the parameter type in the Parameter Properties dialog.

Wire Diameter | Used to format conductor diameter dimension. |
Temperature | Used for ambient temperature on the wire types, used for wire sizing. Temperature parameters perform unit conversions as absolute temperatures, for example, 0 °F = 32 °C = 273.15 K = 491.67 °R. |
Temperature Difference | Used to define differences between temperatures. Temperature Difference parameters perform unit conversions as relative temperatures, for example, 18 °F = 18 °R = 10 °C = 10 K. |
