Select the Host for a Tag

Use the Select Host command to change the selection from the tag to the host element of the selected tag.

The Select Host command works with tags that reference elements in a linked model. The command is not available if a tag is an orphaned and does not have a host.

The Select Host command selects the host for all tag types.

You can use the Select Host command when multiple tags are selected.

The highlight color for the host element is controlled by the Alert color defined in the Graphics options.

1. To select the host for a tag, in the project view, select the tag.
2. Click Modify tabHost panel (Select Host).
