Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Constraints | |
On Duty |
Displays the number of pumps that are running at any one time. To determine the flow of each branch in the mechanical equipment set, the total flow of the network is divided by the number of on duty pumps. |
On Standby |
Displays the number of backup pumps. |
Mechanical | |
Classification | Identifies a type of mechanical equipment family.
The Classification also determines how calculations are performed for hydronic piping networks. Currently, Pump is the only Classification in use. Pumps have two built-in parameters: Calculated Flow and Calculated Pressure Drop. Set the Classification on a pump to enable the Calculated Flow and Calculated Pressure Drop properties for the entire network. |
Calculated Flow |
Displays the flow for an entire network. This parameter is only available on mechanical equipment that uses the Pump classification and when you have enabled analysis for closed loop hydronic piping networks on the Hydronic Networks tab in the Mechanical Settings dialog. See Classification. |
Calculated Pressure Drop |
Displays the pressure drop for an entire network. This parameter is only available on mechanical equipment that uses the Pump classification and when you have enabled analysis for closed loop hydronic piping networks on the Hydronic Networks tab in the Mechanical Settings dialog. See Classification. |
Identity Data | |
Name | Displays the name of the mechanical equipment set, such as Pump Set 1. |
