Remember Modify Tool Settings

Revit can remember Modify Tools settings in a current session as well as other sessions when you write the settings to the Revit.ini file.

User specific settings for tools found under the modify tab can be remembered in the current session of Revit, as well as in additional sessions of Revit.

To remember user settings, write the settings into the Revit.ini file.

Modify Tool Settings Remembered
Graphical or Numerical and Scale found in the Scale modify tool.
Disjoin and Copy found in the Rotate modify tool.
Joint Gap found in the Split by Gap modify tool.
Graphical or Numerical, Offset Value, and Copy found in the Offset modify tool.
Delete Inner Component in the Split modify tool.
Linear or Radial, Group and Associated, Move to 2nd or Last, Constrain in the Array modify tool.
Constrain, Disjoin, and Multiple settings found in the Copy and Move modify tools.
Copy found in the Mirror tool.
Multiple and Prefer found in the Align modify tool.
