Add a previously created title type to a project.
You can load a view title type into a project as follows:
- When creating or modifying a view title type. After saving changes to the view title type in the Family Editor, click Family Editor panel (Load into Project). Select the open projects into which you want to load the view title type, and click OK.
- Using the ribbon in a project. The view title type is then available when you edit viewport types within the project. Use the following procedure.
To load a view title type using the ribbon
- Open a Revit project.
- Click Insert tabLoad from Library panel (Load Family).
- In the Load Family dialog, navigate to the location of the view title type file.
The default view title types contain View Title in their file names. They reside in the following default location:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Autodesk\RLT 2023 Release\Libraries\<locale and language>\Annotations
- Select the view title type file, and click Open.
Revit loads the view title type into the project. In the Project Browser, the view title type displays under FamiliesAnnotation Symbols.
