About Organizing Views
When working with views of a model or a family, organize the views as needed to support your current work.
About Multi-Monitor Support
You can drag a view out of the Revit LT application window into its own window. Move the window to another monitor as needed to support your workflow.
Tab Views
In the drawing area, each view (or schedule or sheet) has its own tab. You can tile views so you can see multiple views at once. Use the Tab Views tool to combine tiled views into a single window with a tab for each, or organize tabbed views in multiple windows (tiles).
Tile Views
Display views in separate windows in the drawing area to support your workflow. Drag views from one tile to another to organize them as desired.
Navigating Views
When navigating views in a model or family, you can use the mouse, keyboard shortcuts, and various tools, such as the navigation bar, the ViewCube® and Autodesk® SteeringWheels®.
Rename a View
Edit view names to better reflect their content or to simplify project management.
Reuse Views and Sheets in Other Projects
If another project contains a view or sheet that you want to reuse in the current project, use the Insert Views from File tool.
Place a View Reference
A view reference displays the detail number and sheet number (if the view is included on a sheet) for the corresponding view.
Swap View on Sheet
You can swap the current view with a compatible view directly from the view list.
