Select a Template for IFC Files

When you open or link an IFC file, Revit LT creates a new model using the first template listed under File Locations in the Revit LT Options dialog. Before using an IFC file, use the Import IFC Options dialog to specify an alternate default template.

1. Click File tab Open (IFC Options).
2. In the Import IFC Options dialog, click Browse.
3. In the Browse for Template File dialog, navigate to the desired IFC template file, select it, and click Open.
4. In the Import IFC Options dialog, click OK.
