2023.1.6 Update

The Revit 2023 updates and hotfixes are cumulative and include all changes from previously released Revit 2023 updates.

Link RVT Files
Improved behavior for cases where it is not necessary to generate a link model _backup folder when a worksharing-enabled Revit link is only being loaded. If the legacy behavior is preferred, it can be enabled with Revit.ini [Backups] setting DisableSkipBackupFolderCreationWhenLoadingLink=1.
Materials
Fixed an issue that Revit freezes when highlighting words in the material UI textboxes.
Fixed an issue that Revit freezes when expanding or contracting columns in the material asset browser.
MEP Miscellaneous
Fixed an issue where the P&ID drawing failed to load when using the P&ID Modeler.
Print
Fixed an issue where cropped generic annotations nested in model families that touched the crop incorrectly appeared when printing to PDF with the vector option.
Revit Cloud Model (workshared)
Fixed an issue where the application would sporadically close after opening a cloud workshare model.
Units
Fixed an issue in which for some models, duplicate unit symbols were shown for some units in Project Units dialog and parameter values that used the duplicate units could not be modified.
User Interface
Added the Colorbooks functionality to replace the Pantone dialog
Improved Revit stability after resetting users' configuration files.
View
Fixed an issue which stopped view references from drawing on placement.
Improved stability when opening cloud projects with links.

Important Notes

Installation
In some scenarios you may be prompted for the RVT.msi, this occurs when the Update detects an unexpected version of an existing file and needs to determine the next course of action. Please provide the location to the RVT.msi used during initial installation of Revit 2023 to continue installing the update.
Revit 2023.1 and newer updates do not support uninstall, once Revit 2023.1 or a newer update is applied Revit 2023 can not be reverted to its pre-update state.
“Could not access network location Revit 2023” message or "Autodesk Revit 2023 is already installed" message may occur after uninstalling Revit 2023 and attempting to reinstall Revit 2023. This issue can be resolved by running the Autodesk Revit 2023 Install Cleanup Utility
After installation of Revit 2023.1 or newer update, Custom Dynamo Nodes for Steel Connections will remain located in %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.13\packages instead of being moved to %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.16\packages. You may need to copy the files into the %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.16\packages folder to utilize the Custom Dynamo Nodes for Steel Connections.
