Access Numbering Schemes

Create, edit, and delete numbering schemes on the Numbering Schemes dialog.

1. In the Vault Client, select Tools  Administration  Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Behaviors tab.
3. In the Numbering section, click Define.

   The Numbering Schemes dialog box lists the available numbering schemes.

4. The default numbering scheme is indicated with a check mark. Select the check box in another scheme to make that one the default.
5. Select the check box in the Active column for a scheme to activate that scheme. The scheme now shows up as an option when a user changes a numbering scheme.
6. Create new schemes, edit existing schemes, and delete schemes using the buttons.
7. Select whether you want to view numbering schemes or All from the Filter drop-down list.
