Designers using Autodesk Vault as part of their Autodesk Inventor design workflows can notice several ergonomic improvements that significantly improve their overall design experience.
SQL Instances
In earlier releases, Vault could only be installed on a specifically named SQL instance (autodeskvault). It is now possible to specify the instance name both during installation and the creation of replicated workgroups.
Lifecycle State Changes
For lifecycle state changes, the server now evaluates all conditions up-front and returns a complete list of any restrictions. Previously only the first restriction encountered was returned.
