Dialog elements
- Load parameters
- Select the Load type for the member.
- Section parameters
- Enter the Anet/Agross ratio. This value is used to consider section factors exposed to tensile force.
- Additional conditions for round sections
- Use this option to perform calculations on members that have a round section bent biaxially.
- Select
Unidirectional bending to use the vector sum of the moments My and Mz as a resultant moment, in order to treat the member as unidirectionally bent.
- Solid wet timber
-
- Consider dimensions reduction 3.2.(1)P
- Considers the dimension reduction due to the wood humidity during the assembly.
- Select this option, and then enter the percentage corresponding to the humidity of the wood during the installation.
- Humidity during installation near its fibre saturation point (kdef+1) - 3.2.(4)
- Select this option to increase all coefficients kdef (as defined in table 3.2) by 1.
- Influence of cracks during shear
- Select if you want the influence of cracks during shear (as defined in chapter 6.1.7.(2) of the code) to be calculated automatically or manually. By default, the automatic option is selected. To specify the kcr coefficient, select User and enter a value.
