There are a few ways of assigning offsets to a structure (It is assumed that at least one offset type is already on the active list.):
If no selection has been made before opening the Offsets dialog - To add an offset, select the offset type from the list and point the cursor to the element within which the offset is to be defined. The assigned offset is marked (an arrow on the left side of the offset type symbol) on the active list. The cursor changes its shape to an assigned offset when it is outside the dialog. When the cursor is in drawing area, the neighboring structure bar or node is highlighted.
If a selection is made after opening the the Offsets dialog - The selection is entered into the group: Current Selection field. To assign the appropriate offset type to the bars, select the offset type from the active list and press ENTER or click Apply.
Note: The selected bar list is removed from the Current Selection field.
If a selection is made when the Offsets dialog is already open - Position the cursor in the Current Selection field. When you move the cursor outside the dialog, the cursor is in the selection mode. Therefore, you can select any structure bar and the numbers of the selected bars are displayed in the Current Selection field. To assign the appropriate offset type to the bars, select the offset type from the active list and press ENTER or click Apply.
Note: The selected bar list is removed from the Current Selection field.
