Note: The SP16.13330.2017 code replaces the former SNiP II-23-81 and SP16.13330.2011 versions of the code for steel structures. Therefore, all references to tables or sections of the code apply to the SP16.13330.2017 code except otherwise stated.
Dialog elements
- Stiffener distribution along beam length
- Enter the coordinates of the transverse stiffeners along the beam length, and specify if these coordinates are real or relative to the beam length.
-
Note: Based on the positions of transverse stiffeners, the program defines the length of a web without stiffeners.
if the slenderness of the web in the bent beam exceeds the allowable values specified in point 8.5.1 of the code, then the verification of extreme stresses (8.5.3-(80)) calculated based on critical normal stresses σ
cr (8.5.3-(81)) and the critical tangent stresses τcr (8.5.3-(83)), takes place.
Note: If you are using the SNiP II-23-81 version of the code, refer to the following sections of the code:
- point 7.3
- (7.4-(74))
- (7.4-(75))
- (7.4-(76))
