The Geotechnical Options dialog enables setting the geotechnical parameters according to which a verification of foundations / continuous footings and their interaction with the soil will be proceeded.

Select RC Design
Provided reinforcement layout, and then create a new foundation / new continuous footing or open an existing one. - Click Analysis Geotechnical Options.

(Geotechnical Options).

In the above dialog the conditions determining the method of the foundation design may be selected. The contents of this dialog depend on a selected geotechnical (foundation design) code.
The Save As option allows you to reuse a set of geotechnical parameters. This set is saved to your current user directory. You can reuse this set for the other element in the Geotechnical Options dialog or assign it to the selected element (or selected elements of the same type) in the RC Component Inspector.
The Delete option allows you to remove the selected set of geotechnical parameters.
