To install the Infrastructure Parts Editor Extension

The Infrastructure Parts Editor will additionally add the Infrastructure Part Shape Utilities tools to the Inventor ribbon for a locally-installed instance of Autodesk Inventor.

To install the Infrastructure Parts Editor Extension

1. Access your available products from manage.autodesk.com.
2. On the All Products and Services page, locate Civil 3D and click View Details.
3. Select your product year from the tabs just below the Civil 3D description.
4. Under Available Downloads, select the Extensions tab.
5. Select the Inventor Infrastructure Parts Editor extension and click Download.
6. Once the download is complete, run the installer and follow all of its directions.

To access the Infrastructure Part Shape Utilities tools

1. Close Autodesk Civil 3D.
2. Open Autodesk Inventor.
3. Click the Environments Tab in the Autodesk Inventor Ribbon.
4. Click Infrastructure Part Shape Utilities.
   
5. The Infrastructure Part Shape Utilities tools are now available to use.
