Click Arcady Link in the left-hand pane.

Arcady Executable is the location of the ARCADY program file. By default, it is set to (Auto Detect) meaning that Autodesk Civil 3D looks for the latest version of ARCADY on your computer. If ARCADY is installed on your computer and Autodesk Civil 3D fails to find it, or if you wish to force the use of a particular version, then you should enter the full path here. Use the Browse button if possible to avoid typing errors. If you later need to revert to auto-detection then simply delete the path.

The Server IP Address should never require a change. The current versions of Autodesk Civil 3D and ARCADY communicate on port 9050.

If the network connection fails, Autodesk Civil 3D will try to reconnect after the Connect Retry Interval has elapsed. The default value is equivalent to 5 seconds.

The read-only fields Link Status, Connected and Last Exchange provide diagnostic information about the link once it has been established.

Manually Update Results pauses the automatic transfer of data. In this mode, any displayed ARCADY data will be out of date until you refresh the data by pressing the Refresh button.

Update Results During Drag updates ARCADY data when the roundabout geometry is moved or adjusted.

Check Arcady Result On Opening Drawing causes Autodesk Civil 3D to validate, but not change, the stored ARCADY data when opening a drawing that contains ARCADY data.

Update Arcady Result On Opening Drawing causes Autodesk Civil 3D to validate and change the stored ARCADY data, if necessary, when opening a drawing that contains ARCADY data.

By default, Autodesk Civil 3D starts ARCADY in minimised form. If you would rather it started full screen, then clear the check box for Start Arcady Minimized.
