After you have completed creating the transition sets for a corridor, you can export the corridor transitions and import them to another corridor in the same drawing or to corridors in other drawings.
The following is information about the resulting CSV file that is created when transitions are exported.
The value in Subassembly Name Type field specifies whether the transition set was created by selecting a subassembly name or a subassembly class name:
The value in the Lock field specifies whether the transition set is locked or unlocked:
It is not recommended to add anything in the Transition Set Name, Comment, Subassembly or Parameter fields.
For a single transition line under a transition set, if you keep the transition set name field blank but add something in the Comment or Subassembly fields, that transition line will be parsed as invalid and ignored when importing the CSV file. The following error message will be displayed in the Event Viewer: ‘Row ?, column ?: The field should be empty.’
For a single transition line under a transition set, if you only add something in the Transition Set Name field, that transition line and its subsequent lines will be identified as a new transition set, but this new transition set is invalid because it lacks a subassembly name and will be ignored when importing. A valid transition set consists of at least a transition set name and its subassembly. The following error message will be displayed in the Event Viewer: ‘Row ?, column ?: The subassembly must have a name.’
For a single transition line under a transition set, if you only add something in the parameter field, if the new contents could not be identified as a parameter name of the subassembly of the current transition set, that transition line will be parsed as invalid and ignored when importing the CSV file. The following error message will be displayed in the Event Viewer: ‘Row ?, column ?: The parameter name is not found on the given subassembly in the current corridor/baseline.’
If the contents could be identified as a different parameter name of the subassembly of the current transition set, that transition line will be removed from the current transition set. A new transition set with the same subassembly as the current transition set will be created to include that transition line for which you added a parameter name.
