Use this dialog box to refine the selection set of InfraWorks objects that will be brought into Civil 3D.
If the object settings file that you selected in the Open InfraWorks Model dialog box does not enable certain object types to be brought into Civil 3D by default, then the tick boxes for those object types are cleared in the Refine Selection Set dialog box but can be selected if the InfraWorks model contains those object types.

Expand All -
Expands all items in the tree.

Collapse All -
Collapses all items in the tree.
Tick All-
Selects all the items in the style list that can be selected.
Untick All-
Clears all the check boxes that can be cleared.

Lists the InfraWorks data that is available to bring into the Civil 3D drawing. Expand each of the collections to display the objects.
Select or clear the tick box to the left of each object type or object name to filter the data.
The tick boxes for a collection have a tri-state display. If only some items are selected under a collection, the tick box is filled
. If all the items are selected, the tick box is selected 
. If all the items below the collection are cleared, the tick box for the collection is cleared
