To Use Point Filters Within Transparent Commands

  1. When you are prompted for a coordinate location from within a transparent command, do one of the following:
    • To specify a point using a point number, enter .p and enter the point number.
    • To specify the coordinates from a point object in a drawing, enter .g and select the point.
    • To enter a known northing and easting, enter .n and enter the northing and easting values.

    You can also access these point filters from the Transparent ribbon tab and the Transparent Command Filters toolbar.

    To access these commands from the ribbon:

    • Click Transparent tab Point Filter panel Point Object Filter Find.
    • Click Transparent tab Point Filter panel Point Number Filter Find.
    • Click Transparent tab Point Filter panel Northing Easting Filter Find.
  2. Continue with the transparent command.
