Roundabout AutoLoad Settings

To set the default corridor settings for roundabouts, click the Home tabCreate Design panelJunctions drop-downConfigure Roundabout Tools.

Click AutoLoad in the left-hand pane.

All Vehicle Tracking data files found in the data directories listed on the Settings: Directories tab are listed in a hierarchical tree and all are selected for opening by default. The list is updated every time Autodesk Civil 3D is run; any new files found are added and selected.

To prevent data from being loaded automatically, clear the check box beside the item. If you clear a branch that has children, the children will be cleared too. For example, to prevent all the vehicle libraries from being loaded, clear the Vehicle Libraries box and not all the individual library files.

If you want to load all libraries manually when you need them, clear the check box at the top, Automatically Load The Following Files.

You can customise the list of files that Autodesk Civil 3D autoloads by adding individual files or directories. These are added to the Custom data location list.

The buttons on the right side of the dialogue are used as follows:
  • Refresh, to rebuild the list of files and directories without leaving Vehicle Tracking
  • File, to add a library or standard to the list
  • Directory, to add a directory to the list
  • Remove, to remove selected entries (libraries or complete directories) from the list
