Data Mapping: Pipes (Import GIS Data Wizard)

Imported Feature Classes

Imported Pipe Feature Class
Specifies the available feature classes.
Note: The feature classes included in this list are the same feature classes that were imported on the Schema and Coordinates Page (Import GIS Data Wizard).
Civil 3D Pipe Shape
Assigns a pipe shape to the feature class.
Note: The shapes included in this list are the shapes that are included in the parts list selected on the Object Options Page (Import GIS Data Wizard).

Pipe Attribute Assignment

Specifies the attributes that are applicable to the selected Imported Pipe Feature Class. Each feature class consists of properties, for which you specify data field and data unit parameters. The data field and data unit combinations that you assign to the properties can be saved for later use in a data mapping file, which can be applied to future feature classes.
Note: The ID property in the General collection is used only during the import process. The ID value is not preserved in the pipe properties.
Load Data Mapping
Loads a saved data mapping file, which overwrites the contents of the Pipe Attribute Assignment table.
Save Data Mapping
Saves the current data field and data unit combinations for later use.
