To Work With Catchment Groups

Catchment Groups are a way to organize multiple drainage analyses within a single drawing.

To create a catchment group

Create a catchment group to organize related catchments, such as catchments that may pertain to a single pipe network or a pre-condition analysis.

  1. Click Analyze tab Ground Data panel Create Catchment Group Find.
  2. Use the Catchment Group dialog box to define the name and optional description.

To manage catchments within groups, you can move and copy catchments.

To copy a catchment to a catchment group

You can copy a catchment to a different catchment group.

  1. Click a catchment. Click Catchment tab Modify panel Copy To Catchment Group Find.
  2. Use the Catchment Group dialog box to select the destination catchment group.

To edit catchment group properties

Catchment group properties control the catchment name and description.

  1. In Toolspace, on the Prospector tab, expand the Catchments collection.
  2. Right-click a catchment group Properties.
  3. Use the Catchment Group dialog box to change the properties.

To move a catchment to a different catchment group

You can move a catchment to a different catchment group.

  1. Click a catchment. Click Catchment tab Modify panel Move To Catchment Group Find.
  2. Use the Catchment Group dialog box to select the catchment group.
