To connect a disconnected part in a pipe network
When you use this command, the disconnected part automatically snaps to connect to the selected part.
- In the drawing, right-click on the disconnected pipe or structure object and click Connect To Part.
- Click on the part you want to connect to.
Note:
You can also use this command to connect a gravity network structure with a pressure network pipe. Select the structure, right-click and select Connect To Part.
To disconnect a part in a pipe network
When you disconnect a part, the disconnected part can then be moved in the drawing without moving parts that were attached to it.
Even though a part may be disconnected from the other parts in the same pipe network, the disconnected part still belongs to the same pipe network.
- In the drawing, right-click on the pipe or structure object and click Disconnect From Part. If you selected a structure, you will be prompted to select the pipe to disconnect from.
Note:
You can also use this command to disconnect a gravity network structure from a pressure network pipe. Select the structure, right-click and select Disconnect From Part.
