To Move Text to A Level

You can select AutoCAD numeric TEXT and MTEXT objects in the drawing and move each object at its insertion point to the level corresponding to its numeric text value.

Use this command when you need to use a TEXT or MTEXT object in the drawing as surface point data.

1. Select a surface. On the Surface tab, click Surface Tools panelMove Text To Level Find.
2. Select the text object in the drawing or use any of the standard AutoCAD object selection methods.
3. Press Enter.

If the value of a text object is a real number, the text object is moved to the level corresponding to the numeric text value.
