To Apply Plot Styles

A plot area label style, which you can change at any time, is applied to plots when they are created.

The two components of a plot style that display are the plot segment line and the area fill. Area fill is a hatch pattern that you can apply to the entire plot area, or use to mark a border around the inside of the plot boundary. You can set a fill distance to define the width of the filled border.

For information about applying parcel styles during the creation process, see To Specify Default Settings for New Parcels.

  1. In the drawing, click a plot area label to select the plot.

  2. Right-click, then click Plot Properties.
  3. In the Plot Properties dialog box, click the Information tab.
  4. On the Information tab, under Object Style, specify the plot style you want to apply.
