To Transparently Specify a Length by Selecting an Object

Use the Match Length transparent command to specify a distance value as the length of an existing object.

1. When you are prompted to enter a length or a distance in a command, do one of the following:
   • Click Transparent tab Plan panel Match Length Find.
   • Right-click to display the Transparent Commands context menu Match Length.
   • Activate the Transparent Commands toolbar and select Match Length .
   • Enter 'ml (the last letter is an L).
2. Select an AutoCAD line or a solved alignment line.
